hi,

generally sand fields will rip up your pads, thats one of the main reasons I really don’t like sand fields.

if your pads aren’t covered by a warranty I would try and get as much use out of your clouds before you buy some hi rebound/controls. if you have some spare foam maybe get a bit and stick it on the inside of the kicker just for that little bit of extra protection against those hard hits.

you can almost double the life of your kickers actually by swappin the feet. wear them on the wrong feet for a while and giive em a blast of a hairdryer/fan heater/heat gun through out the day and they’ll mound perfectly to fit the other feet. i’m currently using a pair of 4 year old clouds because of this with no adverse efffects.

You can use a glue like araldite which forms a hard layer when it cures. The glue has to be mixed into a paste to apply it, but once it sets the hard layer will help protect the foam from the abrasive sand. Would suggest that you only apply it to the “U” base of the kicker as any application to the re-bound areas will obviously impede the effectiveness of the kicker itself.

The glue can also be used on the back blade and curve on GK sticks to help protect them against wearing on sand when logging and when the stick comes into contact with the turf when diving to the right.

Hope that helps.

Do you know where i can find a small piece of foam, because when I took this one oak out his shoe or whatever tore a piece of my kicker at the U

You can go to a shop and get a foam sleeping map and cut and gule it.

A week before State My Kickers Were getting to the ponit were i need new ones i got the sleeping mat and cut it and guled it, And it was good for that and games after that. Hope this helped.
