Random question, but would the flicka stick breach the rules for match use. It would probably be a bit difficult to control the ball with, but could be great for arial balls and short corners and in lower level leagues could probaly get away with it for tackling etc.

In section 3 (FIELD AND EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS) you will find all the necessary rules required.

Rule 2.1a (as a “coathanger” rule) pretty much excludes it from regular use. As I haven’t seen the Flicka IRL yet I’m not sure about measurements, but from the photo’s it looks to be in breach of rules 2.3i, 2.3j and 2.3k so that would make it illegal anyway.

Correct this is illegal for use in a match – 100% for training and having fun!
