Thanks Grim, nice article, I might add some of it into tonights training session!

I wonder if it might be worth adding your interpretation of when to approach the loose ball and when to face the rebound/shot. Obviously a lot of it is purely instinct, but sometimes you see a keeper come out on a suicide mission when they have no chance of winning the ball.

i dont advise training this too much during team trainings, as a risk to you team, no need to injure key players during training. though during a specailised keepers training it would be a good imput into the common keepers training package.
